Geely’s recently-unveiled Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) is expected to underpin the new small, zero-emission vehicle.

Volvo filed to trademark several variations of the XC name – including XC10 and XC20 – all the way back in 2011, however it has not officially confirmed a designation for the upcoming SUV.
A spokesperson for the manufacturer’s Australia division was unable to confirm the rumour, however told CarAdvice the SEA platform would definitely be compatible with a smaller electric SUV configuration.
“If that’s the way we go, I think it’d still be a few years away,” the representative added.
